Excel in customer service by processing Customer orders, assisting Customers, stocking shelves, packing orders, managing transfers and warehouse upkeep.

Lead the charge in the warehouse. Help to unload stock trucks, pull Customer orders, and stage transfers. Warehouse leads will often meet with Team Members to touch base and set work agendas.

Oversee and ensure smooth operations of the Shipping, Receiving, Delivery, and Will Call services, including accurate stocking and order pulling, internal safety efforts, and timely deliveries. This role directly impacts warehouse safety and efficiency.

Ensure adherence to safety procedures and help develop their Team. Encourage Team Members to work hard to satisfy Customers, achieve Branch goals, and foster their own career aspirations. They analyze Branch performance within all Teams, engage with Customers directly and gain insights for improvement.

In charge of hiring with a safety-first mindset, this role manages an entire region of Branches. They bring in fresh ideas for improvement while setting the example for Branch Managers to follow. They work closely with the Sales Channel and Customers, always exploring opportunities for growth.

Collaborate with Distribution Centers, Branch, and Regional Operations Managers to enhance warehousing and trucking operations, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures and identifying areas for improvement. Develop and implement best practices and performance benchmarks in partnership with frontline team members to elevate customer service and provide a competitive edge across the company.

Handle a wide range of operations tasks, providing prompt and knowledgeable support to the Distribution Centers and Branches. Negotiate and procure warehouse equipment and vehicles, report monthly performance results to management, and evaluate cost-saving measures across Slakey’s operations.

Support operational improvements across Branches, oversee the Central or Regional Operations Team in warehouse management, freight, safety, and SOP compliance, and lead major project implementations such as Branch expansions and technology rollouts. Develop best practices, monitor performance standards, foster team development, and ensure seamless execution of construction and technology initiatives to enhance efficiency and service quality.
